Arnav's world shattered in front of him as he realised that he had been wrong, Arnav Singh Raizada had been wrong! But Khushi had been WRONGED, Khushi had been innocent. Fresh, warm tears strolled down Arnav's face, How could he have done this?
Arnav had just heard their conversation (between Shyam and Khushi), Khushi and her family were decieved by his Jija. It had been all his fault, within twenty minutes Arnav had taken everything from Khushi's life. Her integrity, pride, family and even her dreams.
Everytime Khushi would cry if Shyam tried to hurt her, Arnav believed that she lured Shyam in. He was ashamed, guilty and angry. Khushi ran toward her bedroom, running past Arnav, not registering his existence in the room. He ran after Khushi, he finally saw her saree pallu on the bench by the poolside. "Khushi" he whispered. There was no response. "Khushi, please, look at me!" Arnav desperately shouted. Still no response. He steadily tiptoed towards her, unsure of what was to come. "Khush-" He suddenly stopped and looked down, there was no Khushi! It had been her saree which she had left there after he had forced her out of his room last night.
*Flashback*"Arnavji please believe me, I did not do anything, Why would I want to destroy your sisters life? I love her as much as you do!" Khushi cried.
" Shut Up you W***e! I knew from Day 1 you were a Golddigger and you could do anything for money, but I thought maybe I misjudged you, But I was right wasn't I? All you poor people care about is money(NO OFFENCE TO POOR PEOPLE, I DON'T REALLY THINK THIS), you want money, do you? Then take it! He grabbed her by her arm and tugged at her saree, She was standing with only her blouse and petticoat on. She folded her arms around her stomach to shelter herself but he pulled her arms away. Reaching into his pockets he took out a 500 rupee note and tucked it into her blouse, Do you want more do you? Tears were flowing down Khushi's hazel eyes.
"Don't start with your crocodile tears you vindictive b***h!" He spat at her and pushed her out of his bedroom, into the compost storage. "Stay where you belong, with dirt because that's just what you are!" He hurled, ignoring her sobs and pleads.
*Present Time*Arnav flinched, as he remembered his actions, his heart was leaping out of his body. Sprinting down the stairs of the Raizada Mansion, he heard someone leaving. Who could it be? But his heart already knew the answer. He screamed her name but it turned on deaf ears. He ran outside but she had left in a rickshaw, putting his key into the car he started to look for the rickshaw which had been long out of sight. If only he knew that Shyam was following behind as he found out that Arnav knew his sickening truth.
Arnav drove frantically searching East and West for all he could remember was Khushi's pleading eyes begging him for mercy. He had been a vicious, barbaric monster! Suddenly he saw a flash or green and yellow, Devi Maiyya had answered his prayers, yes he had prayed to DM for the first time to protect HIS Khushi. It was the taxi Khushi had left in, and there she was standing in her elegant saree that HE had gifted to her before they got married, before he had treated her with so much Injustice. Spontaneously he parked his car and bolted towards her. His love, HIS LIFE.
Khushi recognised the voice, it had been 6 months since she had heard that voice, it was him calling her so softly, it couldn't be! "I must be hallucinating, He hates me so and why would he be here so late at night for?" she said to herself, but she heard the voice again. She immediately turned around and saw his chissled, muscular shadow there, "A-Arnavji?" She Stammered.
Arnav couldn't trust himself to speak, for the first time since his mother had died, he was speechless. He walked closer towards her, "Khushi, I need to talk to you, please come with me" Arnav soflty said. Khushi was taken aback with the versatile tone he used with her, concern flashed through her eyes. Khushi turned around "Leave me alone, our 6 months contract is over today I have nothing to do with you" Khushi retorted. Arnav cringed, he had forgotton that today was the day that Khushi was no longer his wife, and without his wife he had no life.
"Khushi Ji the car has been fixed, shall we leave?" the driver had said leaving his rickshaw by the main road. Arnav gave the poor man a cold glance, leaving the man petrified. "Khushi is not going anywhere, here is your money, thank you for bringing her here, I will take her now" Arnav said with gritted teeth. "NO! I am leaving!" Khushi yelled, Arnav turned towards khushi, "You are not going anywhere till I have said what I need to say" Arnav said sternly, not wanting to make a scene in front of the driver. "Joh apka hukum ji (What ever you want sir)" The driver said and quickly made his way into his rickshaw and left...
